Mission:
Under the supervision of the head of the "Cellule Europe ASDESR-Lille", your mission will be to detect, develop, and support setting upResearch, Training and Innovation projects in the field of Human and Social Sciences (SHS). To do so, you will help Researchers from Lille's site in the design of their proposals in response to European funding programs (Horizon Europe, ERASMUS + and LIFE in priority) according to the specific strategies and regulations of their host institutions (Universities, Schools, Hospitals, Research institutions).
You will have to implement your work in close connexion with the colleagues partners of the ASDESR-Lille project, the Researchers leading the projects, the operational departments from the institutions involved and eventually, external partners.
Principal Activities:
- Contribute to the detection in order to develop European projects: follow-up of scientific activities (projects, publications, communications...) of laboratories part of the perimeter you will have to manage, monitor the activities of European funding programs (Horizon Europe, LIFE et Erasmus+), inform yourself and researchers/ departments/ institutions about calls for European fundings and organize tranning sessions for academics.
- Contribute to Lille's site strategy to influence European programs: develop and update a map of influence networks on SHS, identify and mobilize Lille's Researchers to join these influence networks, contribute to the National Thematic Groups related to SHS, promote and animate a dynamic for Lille's researchers in the participation to the redaction of Work Programs.
- Support for the redaction of European projects proposals: contribute to the critic reading of the proposals in order to give writing advises especially on scientific parts, gather informations on evaluation terms set up by European calls, help with the strategic positioning of the projects, bring knowledge, methods and strategic elements into the proposals to increase success rate in response to European and international calls for funding, help with the definition and the explaination of the objectives, outcomes and impact of the projects, help researchers to enhance their proposals to reach the level expected by the calls, support the writing of the proposal in english, support the preparation of oral presentations for ERC candidates and analyse former proposals in view of evaluation reports.
- Contribute to the development and the maintain of the "Cellule Europe ASDESR-Lille": develop and update a registry of knowledge on European activities of Lille's laboratories, participate in promotion and animation actions of the "Cellule Europe ASDESR-Lille", help in developing tools to follow activities and produce follow-up iindicators, be involved in professional, regional, national and european networks.
Working conditions:

- Frequent deplacements between the different Higher Education and Research institutions sites as well as national and international.
- Salary between 23K and 41K (according to Lille University's salary scheme).

Skills/Qualifications
Skills required:
- Deep knowledge of national organisation of Higher Education and Research (how public french institutions of reasearch and higher education work) and of European and international Research systems, as well as the different European and international Research and Training funding opportunities.
- Hard skills: ability to understand Research and training projects, ability to gather, select and prioritise informations, ability to emphasise scientific concepts and ideas, play a role in advising and help to decide, transfer of knowledge, team work, manage a network/ a group, ability to do a documentary monitoring, plan and report on activities.
- Soft skills: ability to synthetise and structure ideas, ability to organise activities in order to meet deadlines, reliability, rigour, social skills, ability to adapt to different interlocutors.
Training and professional experience expected:
- Training: Engineering degree or PhD in the field of SHS. Training or experience in scientific journalism would be a plus.
