The thesis will take place at the computer science department of ecole normale supérieure, hosted at the INRIA Paris center. It will be co-supervised by the laboratoire des sciences du climat et de l'environnement in Saclay.
Use satellite images to predict commodity prices. Interpretation of hyperspectral images produced by SENTINEL 2, image classification using deep learning techniques and production of NDVI maps.
The idea is then to use this data to predict the structure of commodity futures markets.
