Offer Description
The research Post Doc deals with the development of medium-power microgrids adapted to the needs of farms in rural environments. Power electronics architecture and energy management strategies will be elaborated to optimize the operation of the microgrid for autonomous applications. DC and tri-phase AC ports will be available for DC or AC electrical loads (multi-port topology). Design of the microgrid will be performed thanks to an optimization process taking into account renewable energy sources and load profiles, costs and efficiency.
A control of a Double Fed Induction Generator must be implemented on a dSPACE MicroLabBox. Then the control of multiport system will be studied. Implementation on low-cost devices (Texas Instruments F28379D) will be achieved at the end.
The Post Doc duration is 11 months in Nancy, France at GREEN laboratory with a gross remuneration of 2271€/month.
This research is part of the LEAP-RE project MF-FARM “Smart microgrids as a solution for agriculture farms electrification” with the contribution of the following partners: Université de Lorraine (UL-LEMTA and UL-GREEN), IECORP SA, UDES-CDER, Univ. de Tlemcen, LAT (UT), TU Berlin (TUB-WIP and TUB-EET), MicroEnergy Int. GmbH (MEI), Intern. Univ. of Rabat (UIR), Green Energy Park (GEP), Ecole Nationale des Sciences Appliquées d’Oujda (ENSAO).
