Offer Description
The laboratory is recruiting a Senior Scientist, who will work as a manager in the Research and Innovation (R&I) team, composed of the Director, technical managers, bio-informatician and technicians.
Under the supervision of the R&I Director, the Senior Scientist manage human and technical resources of several projects to contribute to the doping control analyses :
- Management : technician working on proteomics/peptides and students (Master, PhD)
- Research fundings (IFCE, …)
-Technologies : high throughput analyses, microLC, ionmobility applied to biological matrices (blood, urine, DBS) and non-biological matrices (straw...)
- Contribute also actively to the scientific communication (publication of scientific articles, talks in international conferences etc.)
- Examples of current and future projects : innovation project on TIMSToF, set up database of equine fluid antibodies …
International travel could be required from time to time.

Requirements
Specific Requirements
You have a PhD in analytical chemistry or biochemistry.
You have solid knowledge in mass spectrometry (high resolution mass spectrometer HRMS-Orbitrap / Q-TOF / QQQ) and you are familiar with mass spectrometry software (Xcalibur, DataAnalysis, , etc). Conveniently, you have minimum 5 years of experience in trace-level detection of compounds (small molecules and/or proteins/peptides) using targeted and/or untargeted techniques.
You are fluent in English and able to conduct written and oral scientific/technical discussions.
You have publications in peer-reviewed journals in this field.
A first management experience is expected.
The following skills would be a plus :
-Solid abilities in liquid chromatography (UHPLC, microflow, nanoflow)
-Skills in data visualization employing Skyline/R/Python
You are autonomous, rigorous in your approach, your analyses and in the management of projects. You have an inquisitive mind and you are inventive and critical in searching solutions. You also have a facility for communicating with different types of contacts and working as a team.
Your interest in analytical chemistry is a key motivation to join a laboratory at the forefront of anti-doping research with a dynamic team.
