CDD Researcher in Biochemistry / Chemobiology

Updated: almost 2 years ago
Location: Tremblay en France, LE DE FRANCE
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 13 Jun 2022

The researcher will:
- develop in vitro and in vivo models to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of new immunostimulatory agents.
- study the biological processes in response to new immunostimulants, in particular the biochemical modifications (metabolites and structural and functional proteins) of the tumour microenvironment,
- propose new chemo-biological systems, based on volatile organic compounds, and allowing the exploration of specific metabolic processes in solid tumours in real time; processes that can then be targeted by immuno-stimulating agents
- will carry out in vivo and clinical studies.

At the CNRS, the post-doctoral researcher will carry out his/her research within the IC2MP, in the "Orgasynth" team. This research work is part of the research programme of the "Programmed Molecular Systems" group of the research team and of the company SEEKYO and will be placed under the responsibility of the research group manager.

The missions of the research project will be :
- Evaluate new drug candidates in immuno-oncology (in vitro and in vivo).
- To study the therapeutic efficacy of new drug candidates via the analysis of volatile organic compounds.
- To highlight biochemical processes that could be targeted by immunostimulating agents.
- To study the biochemical processes triggered by immunostimulants.

It is specified that this recruitment offer is part of the France Relance plan for a research collaboration project with a company that will be submitted to the DRARI for validation.

This research project will be carried out in part at the Institute of Chemistry of Media and Materials of Poitiers (IC2MP). The IC2MP is an interdisciplinary research laboratory hosted by the CNRS and the University of Poitiers. The researcher will work within and belong to the "Orgasynth" team. The "Orgasynth" team is specialised in the study of compounds with biological activities. The activity will also be carried out within the company SEEKYO, based in Poitiers and specialised in the development of therapeutic vectors targeting the tumour microenvironment.
