FIELDS CONCERNED

The position corresponds to education and research in advanced and future networks, systems and services modeling, optimization, control and management.

More specifically, it relates to the recent evolution of networks and services enabled by softwarisation and virtualization of network resources, functions and services and the emergence of in-network intelligence for realizing this transformation.

EXPECTED PROFILE

Research: The new faculty member will contribute to our research objective of building architectures and technologies making future network connectivity and services programmable via an open control and management frameworks. This requires knowledge of wireless and fixed networks, including beyond 5G and 6G networks, as well as experience in service architectures and management.

Teaching: The new faculty member will contribute to our education programs in the networks and systems domains with teaching expected (in French and English) at the undergraduate (freshman, junior, sophomore, and senior) graduate levels (MsC and Doctoral programs) in networks, systems and services, and in Co-op and continuous education programs.

A demonstrated collaborative research experience leading to top ranked publications is desirable for this position.
