FIELDS CONCERNED

The position addresses the need for developing, deploying and operating digital AI-based services that protect people and data by default. It covers cybersecurity and privacy risk assessment and remediation methodologies, and methods and tools for designing, assessing and certifying proposed solutions with respect to security, privacy, ethical and environmental needs. The position is supported by ANR funding for the recruitment of a PhD student or post-doctoral fellow.

The teaching expectations are to enrich the engineering teaching program with the socio-economic and ethical dimensions of cyber security.

Active participation to IMT CyberCNI and VP-IP chairs and CIEDS (Interdisciplinary Centre for Defence and Security of IP Paris) within the SCN team of SAMOVAR are expected.

EXPECTED PROFILE

The candidate must demonstrate research experience and publications with international teams in high-impact journals and conferences; experience on competing and securing prestigious external research funding programs; successful management of the awarded grants; experience on research team participation and development of results; creation of new links with other research teams outside present and past organizations (e.g. industry).

• PhD in cybersecurity or closely-related fields

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Research experience of at least two years in higher education
• Publication record matching the requirements of the SAMOVAR laboratory
• Work experience in two different research teams demonstrated through publications
• Knowledge in Information and Communication Technologies
• Oral and written command of French and English
