FIELDS CONCERNED

Télécom SudParis opens a position of assistant professor for three years in computer science inside the computer science department (https://www.inf.telecom-sudparis.eu/ ) and the teaching supervision department. The recruitee must have experience teaching and conducting research in computer science. They will help the school run courses and keep developing their research area with the members of the ACMES teams (https://samovar.telecom-sudparis.eu/index.php/acmes-2/ ).

 

EXPECTED PROFILE

Research

The recruitee will integrate the computer science department and join the DIEGO group to strengthen the Artificial Intelligence axis (AI), emphasizing natural language processing and generative AI. The candidate must show experience with language models and the processing of large textual data. An experience with problems linked with AI for Social Good, such as fake news detection, participatory democracy, propaganda on social networks, greenwashing in the news, or health data analysis, will be appreciated.

Teaching

The recruitee will help the school teach computer science to engineers (third bachelor year to end of master). Solid fundamental knowledge is required (programming, operating systems, databases) and AI knowledge (machine/deep learning, NLP, generative AI). Knowledge in cybersecurity would be appreciated.
