TRAINEE for the Faculty of Theology

The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.

We are now looking for a TRAINEE for the Faculty of Theology.

The trainee's tasks include assisting the faculty's researchers in transcribing research materials, conducting literature searches, and referencing the content. Knowledge of qualitative research methods is considered an advantage.

Work also includes tasks related to updating the Swedish language intra pages of the faculty, as well as other administrative tasks. In addition, the intern coordinates the faculty's co-operation with stakeholders from Africa. 

We expect oral and written communication skills, initiative, and organizational skills. We appreciate the willingness and enthusiasm to participate in various work tasks.

The Faculty of Theology offers an encouraging work environment and interesting tasks, to which the intern is carefully introduced.

The duration of a traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2024 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
