TRAINEE for the Faculty of Theology, COCO - research project

The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.

We are now looking for a TRAINEE for COCO - the research project examining sense of safety and religious spaces.

Your main tasks as a trainee are:

- Literature search

- Mapping and preliminary analysis of media materials (e.g. websites)

- Preliminary analysis of the survey data

- Preliminary analysis of the video material (dance piece)

- Possibly organization of the event related to the research project

- Other tasks depending on the skillset of the chosen candidate, such as preparing data collection

We expect you to have:

- An excellent command of English

- Good skills in Microsoft Office tools

- Good organizational and teamwork skills

- Good presentation skills

The duration of a traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2024 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
