Trainee for Services for International Exchange and Education Cooperation

The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.  

We are looking for two trainees for Services for International Exchange and Education Cooperation.

Your main tasks as a trainee will include producing newsletters for new international students, creating content for social media and assistance with the organization of various events for international students. Furthermore, your main tasks include managing the applications through the Mobility Online portal for international exchange and duties related to the services of the exchange programmes. These tasks, and possible other tasks in student administration, can be assigned to you according to your interest.

You have an interest in working with international students and student services. You are fluent in spoken and written English, no knowledge of Finnish is required. You have good digital and IT skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office. Your team working skills are good and you have also pro-active and independent attitude. You are both precise and flexible. IT studies, other language skills and previous experience in writing newsletters and organizing events will be considered an asset.

The duration of a traineeship is 1 September to 31 December 2023 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
