Offer Description
Are you interested in making robots more intelligent? For example, have you ever wondered:
- How autonomous vehicles are simulated and controlled?
- How robots are able to manipulate complex objects such as clothes?
- How robots can use AI and learning to act in the real world?
The Intelligent Robotics research group is now looking for summer interns.
What we expect from you
- Successful university studies in robotics, computer science, control engineering, applied mathematics, or another related field
- Desire to participate in scientific research
- Motivation to learn new things
- If you match with some of the following keywords, we would be super happy to get an application from you: Python, C++, ROS, robotics, deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision.
- Permission to work in Finland, e.g. EU citizenship, or a residence permit which allows working in Finland (Please note that due to possible delays in processing residence permit applications, we are unfortunately not able to offer internships to persons that need to apply for new permits for the internship).
Summer internships are paid positions.
Topics
This year the range of topics of interest to us include e.g. autonomous driving, robotic manipulation, and reinforcement learning.
