We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead some of our strategic quantum technology projects that are of national and international significance, including the ongoing quantum computer co-development project. These projects will give you strong role and visibility in Finnish and in European quantum technology ecosystem.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing of one or several quantum projects at the same time.
  • Managing projects throughout the entire execution, ensuring scope, budget and timeline are met.
  • Interfacing with partners in Europe to build a collaborative network and bring VTT’s offerings at the forefront of Europe.
  • Interfacing with supplier (in collaboration with legal) to follow up project progress, deliver and report.
  • Leading the project team and supporting in resolving technical issues.
  • Ensuring project quality standards are met.
  • Participating in preparing new offering and projects. Preparing offers to new customers.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have several years’ (+5) project management experience.
  • You have several years of experience on hardware R&D type of work, preferably in the field of quantum, superconducting or cryogenic technologies.
  • You have suitable technical background, for example from electrical engineering or physics.
  • Experience from software projects is a plus.
