We are now looking for Research Engineer or Scientist to join our Structural Integrity team!

In this position, you will have an essential role in planning and carrying out mechanical and manual non-destructive inspections and taking part in non-destructive (NDT) research projects. Our team focuses on NDT research although we provide standardized and non-standardized inspections along with expertise consultation to our customers as well.


As Research Engineer or Scientist, you will:

Be responsible on maintaining, updating and developing the research and inspection equipment. Collaborate with other colleagues in research and commercial projects as well as work individually in smaller projects. On some parts of the job, traveling within Finland and abroad is expected from time to time.


Who we are looking for:
  • Experience and prior knowledge on different variety of NDT method is considered as a huge advantage
  • You have at least BSc level degree in materials science, machine engineering or electrical engineering
  • You have good data analysis skills
  • You have interest in service and maintenance of test equipment
  • You have excellent communications skills in English and ability to work in multi-cultural environment and projects
  • Familiarity with Python/Matlab is considered as a plus.
