We are now looking for Research Engineer to join our Bioprocess engineering team.

In this position, you will have an essential role in planning and carrying out research projects and help developing new methods and tools.

Our team, Bioprocess Engineering team provides solutions for a variety of bioprocesses and exploitation of different organisms – from bacteria, yeasts and fungi to algae and plant cells. Precise monitoring and characterization of microbial physiology in process conditions facilitates optimization and scale-up from bench scale cultivations to semi-industrial pilot scale processes. Your responsibilities as a Research Engineer: 
  • As a member of the multidisciplinary research team, you will participate in planning and carrying out research projects and help developing new methods and tools.
  • You will take part in implementation and reporting results of projects together with scientist and engineer colleagues of our research team.

Who we are looking for:
  • Familiarity with a bench or larger scale fermentations and downstream processing methods
  • Understanding on analytical methods (e.g. HPLC) related to cultivations
  • You have at least BSc level degree and experience in the field of biotechnology
  • Data analysis skills
  • Interest in service and maintenance of test equipment
  • Communications skills in English and ability to work in multi-cultural environment and projects
