Job Description

Research Assistant position in cell biology is open in a project led by Dr. Sari Tojkander at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology . The research utilizes a wide array of molecular- and cell biological, biochemical and biophysical methods to study the role of mechanosignaling in the maintenance of normal mammary epithelium and along breast cancer progression. 

Requirements

Research Assistant should have a relevant background in studies. Previous experience in cell culture methods is expected.

The position is filled for a fixed-term period of 3-6 months. The starting date will be mutually agreed. A trial period applies to all our new employees.

The salary will be based on both the job demands and the employee's personal performance in accordance with the University Salary System . The position of Research Assistant is placed on the job demand level 1 (the demand level chart for the teaching and research staff). The personal performance portion of the salary for research assistants is based on the number of course credit points.
