We are looking for Master’s Thesis Worker to join us!

As a thesis worker, you will be writing your thesis as part of an EU-funded project called NOVUM. The NOVUM project aims at creating sustainable bio-based materials and rapidly take them in use in areas of electrical insulation, marine and automotive industry in global context. New business opportunities for bio-based materials are arising and exploitation of these findings needs to be planned systematically. Join our team and let’s make an impact together!

With us you will be responsible for

You will have an important role in contributing to the success of the research project. An important part of the work is to connect new research and technology findings into creating new business.

This project will give you the opportunity to experience creating plans for exploitation routes and market uptake from innovation together with multinational companies as well as small companies. The work will be conducted by interviews, on-line working as well as doing literature search.

The aim is to create solid basis - and potentially a template - for creating business plans and financial assessments for the exploitation of the research results. As part of the work, you will apply the template by developing concrete plans for business cases, including also other aspects of planning such as marketing and general environmental and risk analyses done together with the project partners.

We expect you to have

You are a Master’s student with studies in innovation, business development, and / or new venture development. We expect that you have basic understanding of financial assessment of business opportunities and business plans. Fluent written and spoken English is required since the project partners are international.

We hope that you are a team-player with good collaboration skills but also willing to work independently. We hope that you are precise and willing to learn new things.
