We are now looking for a Master Data Development Manager to join our team.

Your role and goals

In this role you play an important part in strengthening the master data management and information architecture development at Aalto as a part of our ambitious digitalization strategy. In order to support digitalization, you will take into account all required data governance and service development angles focusing on value. Finally, you will work with modelling data streams and processes, producing and developing data visualization and participate in Proof of Concepts and other pilots planning and implementations. An important addition is supporting the analytics for various purposes for Aalto’s use.

Your experience and ambitions

What will help you to succeed and enjoy working in this position:

  • Experience in master data management, data science/analytics and data visualization
  • Experience in data and business process modeling
  • Knowledge of IT-architecture especially information architecture, data warehouse and data lake solutions
  • Flexible, open-minded and collaborative attitude. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You are able to work independently and you are solution oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn and resilience to drive things forward
  • Aalto University is an international working environment, so we expect you to have an excellent command of English; good command of Finnish is an advantage.
  • Master of Science (Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer engineering or related discipline preferred)
