The residency is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinarian interested in clinical reproduction.

According to the rules of ECAR, a resident is expected to work with comparative reproduction in most significant domestic animal species and focus on one of the specialist areas as defined by the college (equine, ruminant, porcine or small animal reproduction or reproductive biotechnology). At the end of the residency, the candidate is expected to sit in the board examination organized by ECAR. The examination involves 60 % of questions in comparative clinical animal reproduction and 40 % of questions in the focus area as opted by the candidate.
