We are now looking for an EA / IT Architect​ to join our team.

Your role and goals

In this role you play an important part in strengthening the enterprise architecture and process architecture development at Aalto as a part of our ambitious digitalization strategy. You are enthusiastic about data and processes and can look EA architecture as a sum of technology, data and processes. First assignment will be to work on EA documentation update and get familiar with the EA landscape. You will participate in the Aalto University’s EA workgroup and have a change to contribute to national and international architecture frameworks and digitalization programs.

Your experience and ambitions

What will help you to succeed and enjoy working in this position:

•           Experience in EA- and IT-architecture

•           Experience in data and business process modeling, EA tools and their frameworks (i.e. BPML; Archimate; JHS179)

•           Familiar with capability concepts and models  

•           Cloud-architecture

•           Solution-architecture

•           Service design

•           Utilization of BI tools / metrics

•           Experience in data science/analytics and data visualization

•           Flexible, open-minded and collaborative attitude. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You are able to work independently and you are solution oriented.

•           Strong analytical skills

•           Willingness and ability to learn and resilience to drive things forward

•           Aalto University is an international working environment, so we expect you to have an excellent command of English; good command of Finnish is an advantage.

•           Master of Science (Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer engineering or related discipline preferred)
