Donor Engagement Manager in technology related fundraising

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious professional to join our dynamic community and be a key contributor especially in the technology related major fundraising. At Aalto, fundraising is about rewarding collaboration with our donors to build a better future. Our donors include foundations, companies, alumni, and other individuals committed to support Aalto’s research and education.

In this role you will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward our major prospects and donors, and work with them in a client driven, professional, and systematic manner. You collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Aalto advancement and the University leadership to create and maintain long-term donor relationships. The entire multidisciplinary Aalto community is an important part of your daily network. You will actively contribute to our goal to be among the best globally in higher education fundraising and donor engagement.

You have a master’s degree and are fluent in English and preferably also in Finnish, while other language skills are an advantage. You have strong interpersonal and networking skills. You have a track record in achieving goals and delivering in international environment.

To succeed in this role, you have experience from fundraising or other relationship management role in the technology related area in academic environment. Your working style is dynamic, collaborative, and solution oriented. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. We value your ability to build a positive atmosphere among your stakeholders and any experience in sales.
