Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled and independent postdoctoral researcher in quantum information theory, who will join our research group at the department of electrical and computer engineering. The hire is expected to proactively contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects in quantum communications and quantum cryptography.

The research fellows are expected to focus on, but not limited to, (1) the foundations of quantum cryptography and non-locality and (2) the development of verification toolboxes for quantum coherence and quantum correlations (nonlocality, entanglement, etc) in networks.

Qualifications

  • Possess a recognised PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science or physics.
  • 3 years postdoctoral experience in related quantum information topics.
  • Have a strong track-record of working on technical aspects of quantum information theory and/or cryptography (supported by reference letters).
  • Open to fixed term contract.
