Job Description

We are looking for highly talented and motivated candidates to work on developing new sensing materials and devices. Together with a multi-disciplinary team of electronics/ electrical engineers, you will be part of an exciting research program to develop next-generation sensor devices and systems for human-machine interactions.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related disciplines
  • Expertise in finite-element modelling of elastic/ visco-elastic materials required
  • Expertise in mechanical simulation tools using ABAQUS, ANSYS, COMSOL Multiphysics, etc. required
  • Expertise with 3D modelling tools such as Solidworks/ AutoCAD inventor/ blend software required
  • Experience in atomic layer deposition (ALD) highly desirable
  • Excellent working knowledge with nano/ micro imaging tools such as SEM
  • Working knowledge of 3D printing processes
  • Familiarity with material mechanical property characterisation tools
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-disciplinary team projects
