Roles and Responsibilities

Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellowship under National Biopharma Mission (NBM) Industry-Academia Collaborative Project funded by BIRAC, Govt of India in Centre for Bio-Separation Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.

Title of the Project : High yielding cell line development of a Factor VIII biosimilar with a novel purification strategy

Qualification :Masters in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Genetic Engineering/ Biotechnology/ /Life Sciences. CSIR Net/GATE qualified candidates are strongly encouraged

Desirable (if any) : Experience in enzyme/protein purification and protein chemistry is strongly desirable.

Stipend : Rs.31,000/ per month + 8% HRA. The rules of DST/DBT Junior Research Fellowship applies

Sponsoring Agency : BIRAC Govt of India

Duration : Project duration 12 months; Appointment will be renewed every 8 months
