The research carried out at the Department of Business Administration in the School of Business and Governance in TalTech deals with various aspects of business: marketing, sociology, social psychology, entrepreneurship, rural development, urban studies, knowledge and technology transfer, strategic management, supply chain management, accounting and performance management. The School has over 200 employees.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Postdoctoral Researcher position is to undertake original research, assist in applying for research funding applications, and assist in setting up a Research Centre in Service Marketing and Strategy.

The selected candidate will work closely with Professor Edward Kasabov in the Department of Business Administration at TalTech. Applications are invited from candidates with an interest in, but not limited to, research themes in Service Marketing and Management, Relationship Marketing as well as Data Management and / or Data Mining. Applicants are expected to build upon and extend critical scholarship on services, including in areas of service control, service disciplining, individual / consumer / customer / citizen rights, service surveillance (including with implications for democracy and balance of power between customers and service providers). The post-holder is expected to contribute to research and development as well as small-scale teaching-related activities (incl. teaching and mentoring students). The post-holder will work alongside Prof Edward Kasabov in setting up a Research Centre in Service Marketing and Strategy.

The position is available for two years, with a fixed-term contract from 1 March 2022 until 29 February 2024. Monthly gross salary for this position is up to 2000 €. Further information on the post: Prof Edward Kasabov, [email protected] .
