Associate Professor of Intelligent Systems

Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching courses in the area of Intelligent Systems.
  • Conducting independent research at the international level in the field of foundations and theory of Intelligent Systems.
  • Publishing in reputable scientific venues.
  • Applying and leading R&D projects and seeking out collaborations with the industry.
  • Supervising MSc and PhD students.
  • Performing at least one managerial task at the university is recommended.
  • Participation in activities related to the promotion and implementation of the area in Estonia and at the international level.

Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience


  • A research profile relevant to the area of the position.
  • Strong international publication record.
  • Experience in implementing or leading research projects.
  • Significant teaching experience at the university level.
  • Successful supervision of MSc or PhD students.

Required language skills
Excellent command of the English language is required. Estonian is recommended but not required.
