Specialist, Women Economic Empowerment, Logistics, Global Affairs and Public Policy, Executive Education Unit, Grant Position

Reports to: Officer, Participants’ Logistics

Purpose: Coordinate training logistics of Women Economic Empowerment program.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and maintains logistics of all sessions, roundtables and events as scheduled and attends all sessions
  • Ensures the successful operation of the platform in coordination with Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) IT team
  • Develops a stakeholder management process by creating and maintaining a contact database and a communication plan that targets key stakeholder groups
  • Follows up with participants to resolve online and offline challenges
  • Prepares and disseminates announcements and shared information to participants and partners
  • Prepares, disseminates and compiles participants’ evaluations; and assists in preparing participants’ evaluation reports
  • Liaises with recruiting partners to ensure compliance with set criteria
  • Monitors participants’ engagement in employment activities in alignment with project’s outcome
  • Increases visibility and publicity of the project using various channels
  • Regularly solicits stories, and notable developments or achievements
  • Prepares various publicity material and obtains the required approvals
  • Identifies promotional opportunities that are both strategic and creative
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in training coordination and capacity building workshops
  • Working experience in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) and International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) is preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent English and Arabic language skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent team work skills, collaboration, flexibility and organization
  • Energetic, self-motivated and possess friendly attitude
  • Good handling of ad-hoc multiple tasks with high-quality performance
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with online-based platforms such as zoom or others is required
