Purpose: This position monitors and controls the Executive Education- ExecEd budget. Manages timely and efficiently all the financial and administration functions of ExecEd in line with the allocated budget. Maintains the development of all financial reports related to ExecEd. Finally, processes and manages the daily financial transactions related to ExecEd.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Process all executive education payment requests on SAP after ensuring the completion of documentation, approvals and consistency with the AUC financial policies and regulations to maintain the internal financial controls
  • Prepare executive education budget availability report on monthly basis with a detailed analysis, trends and commentary to be sent to the top management, for better planning and efficient utilization of budget Participate in the preparation of the Executive Education Budget Planning process and compiling the School of Business new initiatives each financial year to allocate the funds on the SAP planning module and the planning matrix to be submitted to the budget office
  • Prepare financial reports for the Executive Education Gifts, external Grants, Endowments and
  • Projects
  • Assist in the year-end executive education closing process and prepare accruals
  • Coordinate with budget office to ensure the balances’ rollover of the external funds
  • Follow up on receiving collections from donors or sponsors in coordination with the development and treasury Offices
  • Create Vendor master data and ensure reconciling vendors and settling advances and payments
  • Prepare the executive education part-time instructors’ payroll
  • Prepare pricing process and issuance on invoices and settlement of participant account for customized programs
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:  

  • University degree in finance or accounting

Experience:  

  • Three-five years of experience in similar position

 Skills:

  • Strong command of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and Oracle
  • Advanced level of reporting skills using various methods
  • Good attention to details with excellent follow up skills
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking
