About The American University in Cairo:

Job Description:
The Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct professor positions in television/broadcast journalism in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.
Experienced candidates are being sought to teach a graduate course in field and studio digital camera production (broadcast television and digital production). Candidates must utilize current industry standard multi-camera field and studio production applications in a classroom and field setting.
Highly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
Minimum academic achievement of MA in said or related discipline; Minimum 10 years work experience in said or related field; Teaching experience with good evaluation is a must in said or related discipline; English proficiency is a must.
Candidates will teach but not be restricted to:
TVDJ 5241 Field and Studio Digital Camera Production - Intensive field training on how to use digital video cameras. Basics of camera shooting, sequencing, framing, lighting, and also how to conduct vox pops and interviews. Shoot on different field and studio camera models and formats, indoors, outdoors and in a studio environment. Lighting techniques for the field and studio.
