Job Description:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct professor positions in Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the School of Sciences and Engineering. Experienced candidates will teach undergraduate/graduate courses in:

  • CSCE 1102 Fundamentals of Computing II Lab
  • CSCE 2203 Analysis and Design of Algorithms Lab
  • CSCE 2302 Digital Design I Lab
  • CSCE 3302 Computer Architecture Lab
  • CSCE 3402 Operating Systems Lab
  • CSCE 3313 Computer Networks Lab
  • CSCE 4302 Embedded Systems Lab


Minimum academic achievement of M.Sc. in said or related discipline and a PHD candidate; Minimum 5 years work experience in said or related field; Teaching experience preferred in said or related discipline; English proficiency is a must. Candidates will teach but will not be restricted to the above mentioned courses.
