Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant position as Teaching Associate Professor in Digital Management in Practice at the Department of Management, Society and Communication.

The Teaching Associate Professorship is a permanent position with teaching obligations.

The Teaching Associate Professor’s teaching responsibilities would primarily involve undergraduate teaching and supervision related to the BSc in Business Administration and Digital Management (BSc DM). The position involves a particular responsibility as BSc DM Third Year Coordinator, supporting students in creating synergy between the BSc DM’s academic curriculum and practice, notably DM’s Internship option & electives (whether at CBS or during an international exchange abroad) and the bachelor project. The latter will in many cases be based on experience and networks established through the former.

To fulfill the requirements of the position, the applicant chosen must be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the department’s teaching related activities, which also includes being available for her/his students outside classes with regular ‘office hours’, as well as in shared personnel meetings on the department's development and strategy.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this position will independently organise teaching, supervision and coordination roles assigned to him/her as well as organise and conduct related exams.

In addition to teaching assignments and other academic development tasks, the position may include supervision and supervision of teaching assistant professors.

Qualifications

1.Advanced degree in a relevant academic field (at least a master's degree and preferably a PhD degree).
2.Substantial teaching experience from universities or business schools in relevant areas
3.Documented teaching qualifications or other material for the evaluation of his/her pedagogical level.
4.Fluency in English as the medium of teaching and in Danish (the latter for instance is crucial when interacting with the Danish business community, developing and managing links with organisations interested in hosting BSc DM students as interns).
5.Publication of teaching material (teaching cases, contributions to textbooks etc.) is an advantage.

Terms of employment

Salary, pension and terms of employment will be in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).

Recruitment procedure
