Teaching assistant for the Department of Economics

The Department of Economics at Copenhagen Business School is looking for Teaching Assistants in Economics.

We have one or more positions(s) as teaching assistant(s) in International Economics in two bachelor programs (BSc. in International Business and BSc. in International Business and Politics) starting in fall 2022 (classes start in week 35). The courses will run for several years. Therefore, so subject to good performance, the selected candidate would ideally teach the course for several years.  

The position is part-time for a fixed term of three years with the possibility of two three-year extensions. 

Teaching is in English, so very good English skills are a requirement.

Duties

  • Teaching exercise classes in person (eventually online)
  • Grading exams
  • Interaction with students (answering/clarifying questions)

Qualifications 

The position normally requires a relevant master’s degree or equivalent. Teaching qualifications will be taken into consideration in the assessment.  

Terms of employment 

The appointment will be in accordance with the circular on hourly-paid teaching under the Ministry of Finance. The hours of work can vary according to needs in the individual semesters to a maximum of 780 hours per academic year. The new employee must be willing to take a pedagogical course arranged by CBS and participate in lecturer meetings.
