Research Assistant, 3 months, at Department of International Economics, Government and Business, CBS

Copenhagen Business School, Department of International Economics, Government and Business, invites applications for a Research Assistant position with a focus on analysis of large datasets related to the Chinese economy. The research assistant position is a 3 month position, 18.5 hours a week. The expected starting date is 15th July, 2022.

EGB is a multidisciplinary department that conducts high-quality research in the fields of international business and political science with direct relevance to business, policy-makers and the public. Research at the department focuses on two principal focus areas Business & Government and International Business, in relation to societal challenges. Faculty apply advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to generate systematic knowledge about business-government relations and international business relations.

EGB delivers research-based teaching into undergraduate and graduate teaching in programs such as International Business, International Business and Politics, and International Business in Asia. The position includes, but is not limited to,  the follwoing:

• Advanced econometric analysis of large firm-level data sets.
• Analysis of institutional actors/institutional relations in the Chinese economy.
• Analysis of innovation and internationalization models in the Chinese manufacturing sector.
• Analysis of international patents and other innovation measures.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess a Master´s degree, or equivalent qualifications and have professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Knowledge of Chinese is important.
