Postdoc within synthetic organic chemistry and glucose responsive insulin

The Department of Chemistry is announcing a postdoctoral position in the research group of professor Knud J. Jensen. The project aims at developing new glucose responsive insulin. We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and with an interest in carbohydrate, peptide and protein chemistry.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within synthetic organic chemistry and protein chemistry as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

The position is open from 15th October 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, for 12 months.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 440.935 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 75.399). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
