A two-year postdoc position funded by a grant from the Danish Cancer society is open at the Department of Biology. The project will focus on the function of the CIP2A-TopBP1 complex and its role in protecting the genome during cell division. The project will use a multidisciplinary approach to understand mechanistic aspects and to identify druggable aspects of the function in collaboration with local and international labs. The post doc will join an international research group focusing on genome maintenance pathways that operate during mitosis. The lab offers an inclusive and stimulating environment for a self-driven and motivated researcher.

Experience with tissue culturing, CRISPR-Cas genetic targeting, fluorescence microscopy is considered an advantage. Also, ability to drive and complete a research project is considered an advantage.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
