Postdoc in Plant protein foods

Faculty of Science, Department of Food Science is looking for a dedicated candidate for a 2-year Postdoc. position within the section "Design and Consumer Behavior" starting at 1 April 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The roles will be dedicated to

1) Identify and quantify the molecular characteristics, functional properties and nutritional parameters of legume grass protein fractions.

2) Establish the applicability of legume grass protein fractions as food ingredient to produce healthy and sustainable food products.

3) Further development of product prototypes with legume grass protein ingredients.

The positions will be part of the research group Food Design and Sustainability performing research within innovative food science and technology solutions integrated with research-based sustainability assessment delivering business and policy-decision support for regenerative circular food system designs.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within the project “Development of high quality grass-protein foods” as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
