Multimedia Design Student Assistant for Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship 

Do you enjoy bringing your multimedia perspective to communications and events? Are you a student in graphic design, videography or multimedia looking for a role where you can produce exciting new content across multiple platforms? 

Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) at Copenhagen Business School is searching for a multimedia design student assistant with an interest in creating captivating content and visual materials for this exciting entrepreneurial environment.  

As our new team member you will deliver a range of materials for the CSE programs including incubation, acceleration, case competition and education, In particular the multimedia design assistant will support rolling out the CBS visual identity through visual communications and develop materials for CSE signature projects such as Founder to Leader, Pollinate and Explore.  

 We are searching for a colleague who is: 

  • Passionate about the role of visual communications in physical and digital formats.  

  • Diligent and organized – can anticipate needs and take responsibility for your part in coordinating visual materials, adhering to brand guidelines and producing high-quality work in a timely manner. 

  • A problem solver who works well independently and is energized operating in unusual or emerging spaces. 

  • A dynamo when it comes to software such as adobe creative suite, Microsoft suite, adobe and emerging visual communications platforms. 

  • Conscious of the footprint of produced communications materials, with sustainable solutions to produce the same or greater results. 

  • In the second or third year of your bachelor's degree, or beginning your master's degree, with a focus on graphic design, animation, videography or communications. 

What might a day or week look like in the role? 

  • Creating layouts of social media, info screens, posters, presentations and one-pagers in Illustrator or InDesign  

  • Designing marketing material, eg tote bags, banners, posters etc. 

  • Becoming familiar with the goal of the project and researching inspiration as needed to understand the assignment 

  • Producing mock-ups and storyboards that provide a rough idea about the finished working design 

  • Utilizing animation software, design tools and audio recording equipment to produce visual imagery. 

  • Seeking feedback from stakeholders after the initial design is complete 

  • Revising work based on input from stakeholders in a timely manner 

  • Providing regular progress updates for the design team 

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest design trends and advancements in media techniques 

  • Stakeholder liaison with departments within CSE and CBS to adhere to the CBS brand. 

What you should bring 

The job as student assistant requires you to have stellar communication skills, as you are often required to independently communicate and cooperate with various people. It also requires you to have good IT skills and English language skills. On a more general note, the job as student assistant requires that you can keep a good overview when multiple tasks need to be solved at the same time. You are currently a second/third-year bachelor or master student. This role is for 15-20 hours a week.

Salary and terms of employment 

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement). 

The salary is between DKK 132.24 and DKK 138.72 and depends on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. A pension is paid if there have been 9 months of previous employment in the public sector and you have turned 20, or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 11.19% of the pensionable salary components. 

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an  active  student  at a higher education institute in Denmark.

The appointment is time-limited for the period of 1 June 2023 to 30 June 2024 with the possibility of extension.
