Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research
University of Copenhagen

We are looking for a highly skilled laboratory technician (laborant) or biomedical laboratory scientist (bioanalytiker) to join the Single-Cell Omics platform starting date as soon as possible.

About us
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR) was established in 2010 to conduct fundamental research on metabolism. The Center has around 240 employees, consisting of 20 research groups and 5 technology platforms, who work in a vibrant international research environment with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration. Our researchers share a common purpose as they seek to transform the basic understanding of the mechanisms involved in metabolic health and disease, and to accelerate this knowledge toward new prevention and treatment strategies. The Center’s research has resulted in seminal discoveries as to how genes, hormones, and environmental factors influence metabolic health and disease throughout life. You can read more about us here: www.cbmr.ku.dk .

The position available is in the the Single-Cell Omics Platform, a service platform, which was established in 2018 to provide CBMR researchers access to the latest cutting-edge bulk and single-cell transcriptomics and epigenetics techniques. Currently, the platform team consists of Laboratory technicians, Bioinformaticians, a Lead Developer and a Platform Manager.  You can read more about the platform at https://cbmr.ku.dk/researchfacilities/single-cell-omics/ .
