At the Department of Law at the University of Southern Denmark, a position as an external lecturer teaching the course Drafting Contract will be available as of 1 February 2023 or by further agreement. The position is limited to three years, and the place of work is SDU Odense.
Together with the institute's researchers, the external lecturer must handle teaching, examinations and supervision in the course Drafting Contract. The course is also taught on our part-time law programme, where classes are taught on Saturdays, and where the classes are both livestreamed and recorded, so that the students can watch the classes whenever they want to.
Emphasis will be placed on the applicant being able to document a big knowledge of and experience with contract law. It would also be an advantage for the applicant to have experience in teaching, but this is not essential.
Employment as an external lecturer requires either relevant practical experience within the field of the course or a senior scientific position at another university.
The Department of Law currently employs 12 professors, 14 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, 3 postdocs, 3 scientific assistants, 10 PhD fellows and 7 secretariat employees as well as a larger number of external lecturers.
Further information about the position and the legal research and teaching environment at the University of Southern Denmark can be obtained at the Department’s website www.sdu.dk/jura or by contacting [email protected] .
Please note that employees are not required to have lessons every semester during their employment.
External lecturers are paid in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC.
Applicants must attach a CV that includes information on previous teaching experience and relevant academic qualifications.
The University wishes our staff to reflect the diversity of society and thus welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of personal background.
