European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre Denmark is looking for an ambitious, talented and result-oriented event and marketing manager.

We are searching for a skilled, independent and versatile event and marketing manager who can manage all aspects of our marketing activities from strategy development to implementation and be our primary lead in planning all events, both physical and digital.   

The job
Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Planning and implementation of the marketing strategy.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audience, and develop marketing campaigns with specific objectives across different channels and segments. 
  • Coordination and execution of all ESA BIC DK events and cross-organizational events/projects both online and analogue.
  • Event Manager of our 12-day pre-incubation accelerator program LAUNCHPAD every year at the end of August.
  • Advising our incubated startups on challenges and possibilities regarding marketing, and give your professional perspective to developed print, web or social media content.  
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and partner channels
  • Update and manage our website and social media channels.
  • Develop content for print, web and social media
  • Design and produce marketing material
  • Provide advise on the allocation of the marketing budget
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

Our expectations of you

  • Educational background within marketing, preferably with a focus on brand management 
  • You have a solid business understanding, preferably from working in a multi-national organisation. 
  • Advanced spoken and written Danish and English. 
  • Skilled user in PowerPoint, Photoshop and InDesign. You are a natural when it comes to graphic design. 
  • Experienced in Sitecore to maintain and develop our website 
  • Knowledge of ESA branding and regulations 
  • Practical experience with event management, both physical and digital

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). You are employed as an Academic Officer.

The position is a full-time position. Starting date is as soon as possible. The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
