DTU Engineering Technology invites applicants for a position as Associate Professor/Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Power Systems. Your background can be academic or from industry.
You will join the research group “Electric Energy” which currently consists of five colleagues with a mix of research and industry experience, expected to grow in the next years by addition of PhD-students and Postdocs. An ideal candidate is expected to have an excellent track record in most of the following topics:

Responsibilities and qualifications
Your overall focus will be contributing to DTU’s strategic aim towards being Europe’s best engineering education. We provide courses and instruction that feed into a number of DTU’s Bachelor in Engineering Programmes (BEng) as well as a range of continuing education formats, including Diploma Programmes. Our approach is research and development-based with a strong focus on practice, hands-on experience, and problem solving. This approach drives our research as well as our teaching, while we aim to qualify our graduates to detect, analyse and find solutions to the real-world problems of the digital transformation and a sustainable future. The pedagogical concept and the BEng programmes are based upon the internationally recognized concept CDIO.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Teaching courses and supervising student projects
- Contributing to the development of the research group including funding, research, innovation, lab facilities expansion, publications and PhD supervision
- Integrate University-industry collaboration in your teaching and research.

As formal qualifications you must hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering. You must also have extensive research and publication track record as well as a track record of attracting external funding. If you are applying for the associate professor position, you should also have academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship and documented didactic/pedagogic training.
You will be assessed against the responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria:
- Experience and quality of teaching
