Product Specialist for a Novel IoT Device for Liquid Food Products (Multidisciplinary Role)

Hello, we are Datamole: a friendly data & AI company of 70+ enthusiasts building innovative solutions mainly for agriculture and manufacturing industries.

We are looking for someone with a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering to join our team and help us with the development of a multi-reactor-multi-sensor system - an IoT laboratory device for liquid food products. You would be part of the 6-people team, you would work together with our lead scientist and our hardware and software developers and partners we collaborate with.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Close cooperation with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Running experiments and performing measurements.
  • Designing new experiments and developing and validating new models.
  • Suggesting new measuring principles.
  • Communicate with scientists on the customer side working with the multi-reactor system.
    • Understand customer’s use cases.
    • Explain how to use the device.
    • Identify the root cause of problems.
    • Help analyzing measuring results.
  • Writing documentation and tutorials.
  • Testing and working with the multi-reactor system.
  • Participate in future developments of the multi-reactor system
    • Manage and prioritize feature backlogs.
    • Scouting for new sensors, communicating with suppliers.
    • Explore usage in other industries.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.Sc. / Ph.D. level in chemical engineering, preferably food chemistry/sciences.
  • Curious by nature and willing to acquire new knowledge and master new skills.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with sensors and measuring systems.
  • Fluent in English, writing and speech.
  • Excellent communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with mathematical modelling.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, protein chemistry, electrolytes.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud computing (Azure, GCP, AWS), Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Knowledge of the domain of machine learning and AI.
