Assistant Professor of the Department of Biochemistry

full-time or part-time

The Department of Biochemistry is an educational and research facility at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk university. It ensures the teaching of students in theoretical and pre-clinical fields. For more information about us visit our website , Facebook  or Instagram .

Description of significant activities:

  • participation in theoretical and practical teaching taking place at the workplace,
  • preparation of study and teaching materials,
  • membership in commissions for state final exams,
  • contribution to the education of students in doctoral study programs,
  • independent research and development activity, including publishing and research results presentation,
  • co-organization of research and teaching activities, incl. related administration.

The requirements are:

  • completed university master's degree in medicine or science, or equivalent education obtained abroad,
  • completed doctoral studies with experience in the field,
  • the ability of independent professional and scientific work, incl. publication activities,
  • the ability to actively participate in an international conference or professional seminar,
  • active knowledge of the English language,
  • excellent knowledge of the Czech language, spoken and written,
  • team work ability,
  • proactive approach, initiative and willingness for further education,
  • civil and moral integrity.
