Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering (full-time)

The Department of Chemical Engineering at UCT Prague (http://uchi.vscht.cz ) is seeking to appoint a colleague at the assistant professor level. Applicants with research and teaching interests in the fields of Bioprocess Engineering, Systems Engineering, Advanced Materials, Sustainability or Energy are particularly encouraged to apply but all relevant fields that fit into the research and teaching portfolio of the Department will be considered. The role will suit an individual with the ambition and drive to establish independence and actively contribute to the research and teaching activities of the Department including external funding acquisition and collaboration with industry.

Requirements:

PhD or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related technical or scientific discipline; post-doctoral experience of at least 1 year; competitive publication track record; ability to teach in English and communicate in Czech; experience in teaching and/or student supervision is an advantage; experience in the formulation of grant project proposals is an advantage.
