The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University,

announces a competition for the part-time position of the Assistant or Assistant professor

of the Department of the History of the State and Law for maternity and parental leave

Requirements:

Position: Assistant Professor

• completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,

• achievement of scientific degree CSc., Dr., Ph.D.,

• teaching prerequisites and practical teaching experience,

• prerequisites for independent scientific research activities,

• ability to lecture and publish in Czech and English, knowledge of German is an advantage,

• publishing activity in the field of older legal history, submission of three major scientific publications,  

• professional focus in older legal history,

• membership in important Czech or foreign organizations is an advantage,

• moral integrity, 

Position: Assistant

• completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,

• interest in the field of History of Law with the focus on older legal history verified by specific results,

• prerequisites to do scientific research independently,

• ability to lecture and publish in Czech and English, knowledge of German language is an advantage,

• membership in important Czech or foreign organizations is an advantage,

• moral integrity.

The commencement: from February 1, 2022 or by agreement
