Research field: Agricultural machinery for crop production and plant protection

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Engineering is a part of the Faculty of Agronomy MENDELU and is focused on teaching and research activities in the areas - operation and use of agricultural machinery for livestock, agricultural machinery for crop production and plant protection, food and feed technology, waste technology and environmental engineering, agricultural and industrial construction, electrical engineering and automation, technical expertise and valuation. More at https://af.mendelu.cz/

What will you do?

• support for the development of the cognitive and creative abilities of students and graduates of the relevant study programs
• conducting exercises, seminars and excursions, or selected lectures
• providing consultations and continuous control of the study
• supervision and opposes seminar and bachelor's theses, prepares written works and tests, participates in expert, assessment and other creative activities
• participates in the research activities of the workplace
• publishing the results of its scientific research activities and communicates to the professional public through publications mainly in professional and scientific journals and in the form of contributions at conferences and seminars, while respecting the rules and customs of the scientific field

What do we require from you?

• completed master's degree (Ing.) in the field of Technology Operation
• started or completed doctoral studies in the field of agricultural technology
• knowledge of the Czech and English language - ability to teach, very good level of spoken and written language (or B1)
• willingness and ability to teach - basic experience with teaching at universities
• publishing activity in the field of agricultural technology
• professional overview and practical experience with agricultural technology for plant production and plant protection
• basic orientation in the issue of subsidy titles for research projects (NAZV, TAČR)
• driving license sk. B, T (active driver)
