Academic staff member – Assistant or Assistant Professor for the Department of Mathematics

Research field: Mathematics and applied mathematics. Statistics or physics appretiated

We are looking for a candidate to increase the team of our department dealing with the teaching of mathematics and descriptive geometry at several MENDELU faculties.

What will you do?

• preparation of materials and classroom teaching (lectures, seminars) mathematics and applied mathematics
• creative activity in given area of research
• assistance to students in processing final theses
• availability for consulting mathematical problems with students and academic staff
• flexibility for schedule creation

What do we require from you?

• Master's degree Ing./Mgr. in mathematics or applied mathematics
• knowledge of Czech and English at the level of teaching, the ability to teach mathematics and applied mathematics in both languages
• experience with physical or biological applications, ability to include the applications from physics or biology into lectures
• teaching skills

What else do we appreciate?

• efforts to participate in research activities of the faculty
• interest in providing consultations on the use of mathematics and statistics in applications, especially in the field of mechanics
• independent publishing activity
