Lecturer in Law (English Law LLB)

Due to our rapid growth trajectory and ambitions for the future, the Law School at Neapolis University Pafos is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Law. The candidate must be able to teach a range of Foundations of Legal Knowledge subjects (i.e. Public Law, EU Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Tort, Land Law, Equity and Trusts) and other English law subjects on which they may have developed expertise. The posts will include working as part of a small team to design and deliver excellent teaching and research. You will help teach and develop core and/or optional modules which will be taught from October 2022 onwards. 

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • PhD in Law (awarded or close to completion) as well as an English Law degree. 
  • Demonstrable potential and ambition to produce high quality research.
  • Ability to teach a range of foundation subjects of an English Law degree as well as other law subjects, to design and develop teaching programmes and to provide learning support across different levels of academic activity.
  • Evidence of excellent teaching demonstrated by excellent student feedback (either formal or informal).
  • Ability to undertake effectively a range of administrative responsibilities.
  • A collaborative ethos.
  • Experience of teaching English Law modules at an English-language University will be considered an advantage.
