Instructional Designer

In the context of expanding our operations we are currently seeking to recruit an Instructional Designer who will have a paramount role in the process of designing, redesigning, developing and editing learning and teaching material.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Designs and develops learning & teaching material, learning resources and learning activities of an interactive and engaging nature
• Assists academic staff with the course development process and learning resources
• Assists academic staff with identifying learning resources and ensures learning resources that are aligned to course or program objectives and competencies
• Assists academic staff with and advises on the development and revision of curricular material, including learning objectives, competencies
• Consults with program coordinators and academic staff during the program review and program development phase
• Ensures the timely development of courses according to EUC academic quality standards in all the facets of the students’ learning experience.
• Provides instructors with feedback on scripts, texts, quizzes, scenarios, etc.
• Provides instructors with training on new tools for technology enhanced learning
• Develops materials, guides, etc. for new digital tools used in learning and instruction

Qualifications

• University qualifications in instructional design or the learning sciences or educational technology (or similar) and instructional technology or applied informatics (or similar)
• A minimum of three (3) years working experience in instructional design or e-learning and online technologies and pedagogies
• Experience in higher education and/or adult education
• Experience in curriculum development, course design, test development and design of e-learning and online-based educational materials
• A proven track record in designing and developing e-learning trajectories
• Experience in learner-centered design or human computer interaction or accessible design
• Communication and consultancy skills
• Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision
• Proven excellent competence knowledge of Greek and English
