Faculty Position in Medical Ethics
The Department of Basic and Clinical Sciences of the University of Nicosia Medical School is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic faculty members committed to student-centred learning and high-quality research. We are currently inviting applications for a full-time Faculty Position in Medical Ethics at the rank of at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor.
Qualifications Required:
- PhD Degree in Medical Ethics or related subjects.
- Teaching experience in Medical Ethics or related subjects.
- Research Experience and Publication Record relevant to the desired rank.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medical Ethics for Medicine students. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking and ethical reasoning.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in medical ethics, leading to publications in reputable journals and contributing to the academic discourse in the field.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development.
- Contribute actively to departmental and institutional service activities. Participate in committees, engage in academic outreach, and contribute to the development of the department.
- Engage in community outreach activities to promote the School's Mission and Vision.

The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.
